FMA Training Programs
- 1) Inhouse Certificate Program
Press Brake classroom training at your facility with hands-on training if desired. - 2) Public Certification
Press Brake classroom training at a public venue. - 3) Online Certificate
Online Press Brake Training, three days- four hours with homework (videos). - 4) Engineering Press Brake Certificate
Training Directed at and for your engineering Department. Teaching you how to design parts to be bent on the press
brake so they come out right the first time while working within the parameters of your
shop, tooling, and machines.
Fabricator and Manufacturers Association Intl. (FMA) programs are all certified and accredited. And include testing at the end of the training. A copy of the Bending Basics textbook is included. The class itself is suitable for new employees and engineers. Upon completion, attendees will have completed one section of FMA’s Sheet Metal Certification and also receive a certificate suitable for framing as proof of their Press Brake knowledge.
All classes are taught by Mr. Steve Benson, author of Bending Basics 2016 FMA and Press Brake Technology, a guide to precision sheet metal bending 1996 SME Also the author of the Bending Basics column in the Fabricator Magazine And a 25-year veteran of FMA press brake training.
